Whom Shall I Fear by Chris Tomlin

"The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?"             Psalm 27:1

Today I thought I'd share a couple videos with you, that have uplifted and strengthened my faith.  Hope they do for you too.

The first is Chris Tomlin talking about his new song 'Whom Shall I Fear"

I got chills listening to how this song came to be. It's such a great reminder of the battle we face and that the Lord is on our side. : )

The second video is the powerful song with the lyrics.

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints"              Ephesians 6:11-18

  4. what an amazing reminder; thank you! it's a great bible story that he refers to in his talk... when taken in that perspective, why do we fear indeed? (Now I'm wondering what all those angels are doing in Damascus tonight?!)

  5. I wasn't able to view the song video due to copyright laws here in NZ but I was able to listen to Chris Tomlin's very uplifting talk. It's comforting and empowering to be reminded that those who are for us are more in number and power than those who are against us.If God be for us, who can be against us? Thank you for sharing. God bless.
